In August 2014, DOL selected NuAxis Innovations as the awardee of the agency’s much awaited ESD single-award IDIQ contract. The ESD is designed to consolidate IT service desk support across the DOL enterprise, bringing together nine disparate infrastructures. The contract ceiling stands at $101M and will span support for over 22,000 users. NuAxis Innovations recently received its ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification. The ISO 27001 certification is an information security standard and specification for information security management systems published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The certification demonstrates NuAxis’ ability and proven record of high-quality IT services management processes.
NuAxis is also ISO 9001:2008 (quality management system requirements) and ISO 20000-1:2001 (service management system standard) certified. NuAxis has been providing IT services for more than a decade to federal agencies, including the Department of Interior and the Department of Labor.

The ISO certification assures that NuAxis has demonstrated a high-degree of quality in its IT processes. ISO/IEC 20000 was released in 2005 based on the IT infrastructure library (ITIL®) best practice framework, and updated in 2011. The certification defines the requirements for a service management system. Its scope includes general requirements for a service management system and related processes. NuAxis is the 65th company in the United States to receive certification.
NuAxis has been providing IT services over the past decade to Federal Government agencies such as Department of the Interior. Some of these services are:

Based on a comprehensive RFI process and analysis of NuAxis Innovations existing IDIQ contracts at IBC, DOI OCIO has decided to use the NuAxis Customer Support Center (CSC) contract to implement a consolidated department-wide enterprise service desk (DOI ESD). This critical consolidation effort is aimed at providing world-class IT support to DOI’s 80,000+ users through a streamlined and customer-centric support organization.
The Interior Business Center (IBC), formerly known as the National Business Center (NBC), selected NuAxis as one of five awardees on the bureau’s Systems Operations and Administration (SOA) $200M ceiling IDIQ contract. NuAxis can further serve DOI using this new vehicle in the areas of Program Management, Data Center Operations, Network Services, Database and Storage Administration, and Systems Administration.
NuAxis was awarded a contract with the National Park Service in September 2012 to provide Management Analyst Support Services. As part of our work, we are supporting NPS’ transition to the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS).
In August, NuAxis was awarded a contract with NPS’ National Information Services Center (NISC) in Lakewood, CO to provide end user support services. Our team at NISC serves as the first line of contact for user support issues for all customers.
The National Park Service awarded NuAxis a follow-on contract for IT Services in support of the Office of Information Resources. Our support spans various technical areas including service desk management, application development, data center management and network administration.
